Bully Safe Classes

Friday, October 26th, 2007 ALL CLASSES (*Little Dragons are welcome) will deal with how to be "Bully Safe".

*If you are the parent of a Little Dragon, please speak with one of the Senseis about when the best time for your child to come would be.

Fall Black Belt Extravaganza!

Come dine with the graduating class of Black Belts. Take an afternoon to commend the hard work and dedication of the graduates and enjoy fully catered buffet, DJ, bar, Dancing and kata demonstrations.

October Testing and Graduation

On October 16th & 17th, testing will be held during classes for belt stripes.

Friday, October 19th is Exam Night and Graduation for students that received a red stripe and are advancing to the next belt. The proceedings will begin at 6 pm. Family and friends are welcome to come and cheer you on. Pizza will be provided after the graduation is complete.

October Spotlight Week

Beginning October 8th, 2007 ALL students who are eligible for belt promotions this month will be highlighted in class. This is a great way to acknowledge the training and dedication each student has exhibited up to this point!

Flying Kicks Friday

FUN! "Flying Kicks Friday" classes are, as the name suggests, for students to practice their flying kicks...flying front kicks and flying side kicks all class! This event will be for ALL classes on Friday, October 5, 2007. Sleep well, eat well and come to class ready for a great experience!

Leadership in September

Leadership Week will be held September 24th - September 29th.

All Extreme Karate students are encouraged to bring a friend to class (Permission form must be completed in advance).

Leadership Stars will be awarded to all students who participate.

Please see one of the Senseis for a "Bring a Friend" form.

Sparring

There is now SPARRING on Thursday nights from 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm.

Sparring gear is required and can be purchased at the studio for the newly discounted price of $199.00.

This is a safe, fun enviroment to put what you have learned in theory to practical use and to sharpen your senses and reactions!

Students should consider coming to sparring after they have graduated to their Orange Belts.

Speak with one of the Senseis for more information about sparring times and expectations!

Black Belt Club

There will be a Black Belt Champions Class held on Saturday, September 22nd. The class time is 1:00pm - 1:45pm. Make sure to mark the date so you don't miss the fun!!!

LAST 2007 EK Summer Camp: August Session

Every student planning to attend the August session of Extreme Karate Camp must be registered and paid by Friday, August 17th. If you missed the June and July sessions, this is your last chance to experince the fun!

This session is scheduled for:

August 20-24, 2007

Black Belt Club Members: $200/wk. per person
All Other Students: $225/wk. per person

This session is limited to 25 students, so be sure to speak with Sensei Dennis ASAP if you are interested!

"Olympics Day"

"Ninja Training Day" was a hit with the students and the next treat in store for them is:
Olympics Training Day which will be held on August 17th, 2007.

During this class, the Senseis will focus on teaching students the merits and methods of speed and agility.

Parents as Coaches Days

Monday, August 6th & Tuesday, August 7th are both "PARENTS AS COACHES" days.

All parents are invited to take class with their children so they can learn first hand how to help their children practice.

Students will be thrilled and honored to have their parents participate! Make sure to wear something comfortable and we look forward to working with all of you!

The Dojo will be closed for four days (from Thursday, August 2nd through Saturday, August 4th). The Senseis will be attending their annual training and certification seminar.
